EluneDev is an independent software studio in Manitoba, Canada. We build a few products carefully rather than many quickly, and we publish our progress so you can judge the work for yourself.
Why we exist
AI should show its working.
Bookkeeping and accounting are full of work that is repetitive, high-stakes and hard to check at speed. AI can take on much of the drafting, but only if every suggestion shows its working and a qualified person stays in control.
That is the product line we set out to build, shaped by hands-on Canadian accounting and tax practice: Cayde Ledger, a live bookkeeping workspace; Elune Finance OS, an accounting agent that can run on a firm's own hardware; and Elune Inventory, a perpetual inventory system with current supplier pricing.
Courtside comes from the same instinct applied to a hobby: take a messy, data-heavy problem, model it honestly, and put the math on screen.

Modern AI tooling lets a small studio ship quickly. These practices are how we make sure quick never means careless.
AI-assisted, human-accountable
We use AI coding agents extensively, inside a strict workflow: every change goes through a pull request, automated tests and review before it can deploy.
Written down, not remembered
Specifications, decisions and handoff notes live in the repository, so any engineer, human or AI, can pick up exactly where the last one stopped.
Tested before trusted
Calculations get hand-computed test cases. Risky flows get full rehearsals with failures injected on purpose: lost responses, stalled saves, restarts.
Costs in the open
Hosting costs are estimated before anything is provisioned, and any paid change needs an explicit sign-off before it ships.
The name and the mark
A crescent that is also an E.
The name echoes lune, the French word for the moon. The mark is a lunate epsilon: an E drawn as a crescent, with a single bar through its hollow that doubles as a cursor. Quiet, precise, and at its best after dark.
